    Information after the Olympiad

    APAO is a relatively new Olympiad which was founded in the spring 2005 as an international regional programme in line with the International Astronomy Olympiad. The 12th Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad (XII APAO) took place in November 2016 in Goheung county (South coast of Korea) on the base of the National Youth Space Center (NYSC).

    The participants stayed in dormitory of NYSC.

    Theoretical and Practical rounds were held in auditoriums of NYSC, and Observational round - at the NYSC territory.
