Some properties of melts of A²B⁶ compounds.

Abstract:
Devices for experimental determination of surface tension and viscosity of A²B⁶ compound melts have been developed. Surface tension, viscosity and volume effect of crystallization of melts of a few A²B⁶ compounds have been determined.These properties are important for practice of A²B⁶ single crystal growth from the melt.
