About me:

Veniamin Shekhtman was born 03.05.1929. After graduating from MISiS in 1952 he worked in ISSP and become head of Llaboratory of structural analisys in 1976. In 1977 he got Dr. of Science (Habilitation) in Physics.

Scientific interests:

Phase transitions, materials science, X-ray diffraction, modulated structures, aperiodic crystals, incommensurate phases, ferroelectrics
