1963-1970 - Researcher at the Orient Department of the All-Union Thermotechnical Institute, Metal Science Laboratory
1971-1974 - PhD student at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys
1975 - Ph. Degree
2002 - Dr. of Science (Habilitus)

from 1974 - Research Scientist at the Institute of Solid State Physics Russian Academy of Sciences
Current position - Leading Research Scientist at ISSP

Scientific interests:

Structural studies of simple metals and binary compounds at high pressure, interaction of Fermi surface and Brillouin zone, Hume-Rothery phases in simple metals and alloys.

Work experience:

1971-1991 - Study of structural transformations in binary (s, p) alloys under pressure (quenching-pressure method)
1991 - DAAD grant (5 months)
Structural studies of binary compounds (LaAg) using diamond anvil   cell with energy dispersive method on synchrotron radiation (DESY), University of Paderborn, group of Prof. W.B.Holzapfel, Germany
1993-1994 - NATO joint project together with group of Prof. W.B.Holzapfel,
University of Paderborn, Germany.
Study of Lanthanide LnM compounds under high pressure.
1994-1995 - International Science Foundation Grant.
Development of structural high-pressure studies in the Institute of Solid State Physics Russian Academy of Science (diamond anvil cell, angle dispersive method).
1996 - DFG grant (3 months).
Intermetallic phase synthesis in binary (Sb- and Bi- based) alloys under pressure-temperature action.
Bonn University, Institute of Mineralogy, Germany.

Structural phase stability in binary alloys of group III-V elements under high pressure
