Decree of the Board
of the Euro-Asian Astronomical Society
"on International Astronomy Olympiad"

Having heard the report of Dr. M. G. Gavrilov on International Astronomy Olympiad the Euro-Asian Astronomical Society Board states the following:

1. To found the International Olympiad of Euro-Asian Astronomical Society (shortly - International Astronomy Olympiad).

2. To ratify Founding Statutes on the International Olympiad of Euro-Asian Astronomical Society.

3. To appoint Dr. M. G. Gavrilov to the post of Coordinator (Chairman of the Coordinating Council) of the International Astronomy Olympiad.

4. To provide information about the International Astronomy Olympiad according to the channels of Euro-Asian Astronomical Society.

5. To promote holding of the First International Astronomy Olympiad in the autumn of 1996 at the Special Astrophysical Observatory RAS (Niznij Arkhyz).
