The main points for formation of the teams

The points will be analogous to ones for the 4^th, 5^th and 6^th Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiads.
Details will be published in the 2^nd announcement.

National Astronomy Olympic Committees and interested organizations are welcome to ask more about the 7^th APAO and in 2011 may form the teams for the 16^th IAO as well as for the 7^th APAO.

Dates

If possible, Local Organizing Committee will try to synchronise the dates of the VII Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad with the schedule of space satellite launching from cosmodrome Baikonur, so that the excursion to Baikonur on the 4^th-5^th days of Olympiad would include observation of launching. The preliminary dates are November 7-15, 2011.
