The Firm was organized on basis of the Institute of Solid State Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, in 1990.

The Firm specialization is Hi-Tech vacuum techniques and equipment:
- Research and development of vacuum technologies
- Development and fabrication of sophisticated power-supply sources
- Designing of parts, units and mechanisms of vacuum equipment
- Adjustment starting maintenance of complicated equipment.

Our materials and vacuum technologies of coating deposition were used in the Work on rebuilding and reconstruction of several well-know historical monuments and buildings in Moscow and other cities:
- Christ the Savior Cathedral
- Luzhniki big sports arena
- Buildings in the Kremlin of Government and some Moscow banks.

Workers of the Firm have developed various vacuum techniques, designed and fabricated unique equipment and setups.
More than 50 research papers have been published and a number of inventor's certificates obtained, an FRG patent included.
The equipment and techniques developed by the Firm are used in Russia and Germany.

A brief outline of the Firm history:

1990

Year of the Firm foundation.
Re-equipment of the "Bulat" and "Pusk" setups to deposit wear-resistant and decorative coatings onto artificial teeth

1991

Designing and assembling of a setup to deposit decorative coatings onto household utensils.Designing and fabrication of a pilot equipment to deposit coatings onto wires
Designing of the setup "Nicolai" to produce large area glass mirror

1992

Designing and assembling of plasma accelerators using the vacuum arc, for wide-aperture deposition.
Assembling and adjustment of the setup "Nicolai"
Refinement of the technology and start of the production of the mirror glass with titanium coating

1993

Assemblage of first PC's
Development and fabrication PC interface for a wholly self-steered setups.
Fabrication of pulsed supply units with the power to 1.5 kW
Application for a patent and an inventor's certificate
Participation in the exhibition "Advanced Technologies" in Moscow

1994

Designing and assembling of the setup "Nik 2 (song 9316)" for the deposition of coatings onto wires
Development of the technology "Colored Interference Mirrors" and production of large overall dimensions mirrors

1995

Assemblage of the "Nik 2 (song 9316)" setup in Germany, adoption of the technology and Obtaining of the patent from FRG
Development of the technology "Masking deposition"

1996

Designing and fabrication of energy supply units and 10 kW ion sources working on oxygen
Development of the technology, coating and assemblage of the construction chains for the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

1997

Development of the technology "Diamond coating" on glass
Development of the technology and fabrication of coated corrosion-resistant stainless steel sheets for the Luzhniki big sports arena

1998

Fabrication of the decorative fence made of coated corrosion-resistant sheet stainless steel used in the restoration work in the Kremlin.
Report at the conference "Coatings on Glass" in Saarbruken

1999

Research and development of the technology "Heat - reflection Glass"

2000

Research and development of a technology to deposit optical coatings for medical equipment

2001

Nomination of the firm "Song Ltd" for the major All-Russian public award in business "Russian National Olympus"
Collaboration on the programme "Special Optical Coatings for Medical Equipment" with the Bortnik Foundation

 2002

Designing of powerful electric generators and power sources (more than 50 kW)
Series production of special reflectors for medical lamps on the equipment available at the Firm

 2003

Fabrication and adjustment of powerful 90 kW electric generators (by the order), designing of high-stability power sources (more than 80 kW) and powerful electric signal amplifiers (up to 10 kW)
