IV International Astronomy Olympiad
Crimean Laboratory of SAI MSU and Crimean Astrophysical Observatory,
s. Nauchnyj, September 25 - October 2, 1999.

[Dome of the 400-mm astrograph] The IV-th International Astronomy Olympiad took place on September 25 - October 2, 1999 in the scientific town of Nauchnyj, Republic of Crimea, on a base of Sternberg Astronomical Institute Crimean Laboratory, Crimean Astrophysical Observatory and Crimean "Youth Academy os Sciences" Astronomical Department. There were two official languages at the Olympiad - English and Russian. Problems were prepared by the Organizing Committee in these two languages but the team leaders were responsible to translate problems to native languges of participants (i.e. to Bulgarian, Portuguese and Ukrainian). Character of the problems to solve were analogous to ones of the Olympiads 1996, 1997 and 1998.
